If you see any of these individuals on the street raise your arms and back away slowly. Do not run, they can smell fear.

Did you ever wish you could take the legs off your floor mounted cast iron band saw and make into a portable band saw? This chopped-down Delta 14´´ band saw actually worked, but you needed a floor-jack to get it onto the timber. Spring, 1999

This was Saw # 1 (a prototype) from Fall 1999. The frame was 3/8” aluminum plate. In its prime it cut a lot of arched trusses and created a local demand for BIG hand-held portable band saws. It's retired now but it COULD work, if it wanted to.

Saw # 11, from 2001, (the open throat, racing version), was light and nicely balanced, but terribly ´´weak´´. It's still in service and we can´t get it back even though it really wants to retire. The Falberg portable band saw wasn´t really ´´perfected´´ until late 2004. We´re still finding improvements, however, and in that sense the concept continues to evolve.
